Clark Fork River – Middle Fly Fishing Report

The Middle Clark Fork river begins just upstream of Missoula, at the site of the now defunct Milltown Dam.  It then flows through Missoula until its convergence with the Flathead river115 miles downstream.  The Middle Clark Fork is entirely free flowing.  This section of the Clark Fork River also primarily parallels Interstate 90 providing numerous fishing access sites and put-ins.  This section of the river also flows through the Alberton Gorge, a well known white water section of the river.
